In this chapter, Tristan dreams another odd dream of Lyriel in which he gets to do some naughty things to the wild elf that are still undreamable in the daylight - though here, too, things get a little better as it becomes possible to communicate with Lyriel in more ways than one. Meanwhile, Rae offers Naomi some useful training in etherwalking, although this still requires Tristan's active participation.
